I have done this walk a number of times because it starts and ends in one of my favourite National Trust sites. It is also particularly nice because Wakehurst Place has, to my mind, a good restaurant offering substantial meals locally sourced and also morning coffee and afternoon tea with a good selection of cakes. There are two tricky points along the walk despite it being short and I would recommend a hiking-stick.
