Walked 29/10/22 Good level walk but as I am not a fan of lane walking (I was hit by a car some years ago whilst on a group walk) I decided to modify the walk keeping lane walking to a minimum. I continued past WP8 to the next bridge (Vicker's Bridge) (SJ 622 559) and followed the footpaths past Cherry Orchard Farm to Poole Bank Farm. (SJ 639 554). Take the lane directly opposite the stile and follow it a short distance to Poole Old Hall( SJ 646 558). At POH take the second footpath on the left which crosses the fields to Church Road. Cross the stile and turn right and follow the road a short distance back to the start point. This extends the walk to approx 7.5 miles but I found it a lot more interesting and safer, than lots of lane walking,

Pleasant walk on the whole. The only thing that spolit it slightly was the hostile female farmer at Stoke Hall Farm (way point 9) who made it clear that we weren't welcome crossing her land despite following the public right of way. She shouted abuse the entire time we were in her view, and followed us until we were off her property. Note the electric fence which crosses the right of way. Thanks Jacqui
