Ayrshire Coastal Path from Girvan to Maidens

The walk has interesting views over Girvan Harbour before cutting inland through farmland, quickly returning to the beach with a flat walk along sand, occasionally shingle and pebbles. Pass Turnberry Hotel in the distance before eventually reaching the lighthouse at Turnberry, Bruce's Castle and Turnberry Golf Course before turning inland for a brief pavement walk to the village of Maidens. At very low tide it is possible to continue along the shore to Maidens.
