The hike begins at Baga at the same point as hike number 6219. We begin by climbing quite steeply before dropping down into a steep streambed. Climbing again through forest, we eventually make a wide tack that leads us south-easterly, enjoying wonderful scenery, to reach a tarmac lane that will take us past the church of Sant llorenc and down into the town of Guardiola de Bergueda. Here we can pause to enjoy the hospitality of this delightful little town. Next we climb over the hill above the road tunnel and make our way northwards through charming country, eventually to climb to the little isolated church of Sant Sant Marti de Broca. Continuing up, we soon begin a very steep descent down a footpath that is tricky in places, to reach the outskirts of Baga. From here we have only to pass under the main C16 road and wend our way through old Baga to return to the start.
