Ballure Halt - Ballure Reservoir - Elfin Glen - Hairpin Bend - Ballure Halt

A circular walk, mainly in woodland, on the outskirts of Ramsey, Isle of Man, taking in the local reservoir and visiting Elfin Glen, with the opportunity to visit the famous Hairpin Bend on the TT track. Elfin Glen is a steep river valley through mature woodland and is known for its migrant songbirds. There are good views from the top.

There are links to Walks 4089 and 4090 utilizing the Manx Electric Railway and all three walks can easily be done in a day. Bellevue Station is about halfway between the end of Walk 4090 and the start of this walk and if there is no convenient tram, it takes about half an hour to walk between the two.
