This is a very enjoyable walk. The route is partly along the Icknield Way. The tracks and field edges are in good order. This undulating walk has panoramic views on most parts. The old village of Balsham is an attractive one and has a very good 16th Century Inn which is closed on Monday lunchtimes. The family-owned pub serves a wide range of home-cooked dishes to cater for all tastes.
