Barnsley - Swaithes - Wombwell

The route starts at Barnsley Transport Interchange, passes through the inner town onto tha Trans Pennine Trail (TPT), then through an urban green space and school playing-fields to reach the hamlet of Swaithe. Then it crosses the TPT and fields to reach the ancient woodland of Wombwell Wood and finishing at Wombwell Rail station.
