Starting from Barnstaple square, this very interesting walk, which is entirely suitable for families,takes us through the old cobbled streets of Barnstaple, passing most of the points of interest of its heritage trail. Then out into the nearby countryside, passing an old mill with its pretty leat and returning along the famous Tarka Trail.
