This circular walk across the southern portion of Salisbury Plain starts in the peaceful and attractive village of Berwick St James, and affords distant views in all directions, together with some very pleasant stretches through woodland. Paths are generally excellent, making this an easy walk to complete at any time of the year. The Boot Inn at the start and end of the walk has a log fire in colder months, a garden for use in warmer weather and has been found to serve good food and drink.
