This is a circular route through the valleys of Three Sisters to reach the two Munro peaks of the Bidean nam Bian ridge.

The ascent climbs steeply through Coire nan Lochan with a short respite by the tiny lochans before continuing up the rocky ridge to Stob Coire nan Lochan; a bit of easy scrambling is required on this section. A steep descent and steep ascent along a rocky ridge takes you to the high point of the walk, Bidean nam Bian, the highest of the Glen Coe peaks at 1,150 metres.

An easier ridge walk, with views down into the Lost Valley, leads to the second Nunro peak, Stob Coire Sgreamhach. A steep descent in a badly eroded and muddy gully leads into Coire Gabhail, The Lost Valley. The walk through The Lost Valley is quite spectacular with the cliffs of Gearr Aonach to the left and Beinn Fhada to the right.

The descent from The Lost Valley is through a pleasant wooded area where care is required on some slippery rocks and a stream is forded on stepping-stones.
