A lovely circular walk starting at Birch Memorial Hall through the Essex countryside. The route consists of a few field paths, country lanes and a couple of paths through woodland. There is quite a bit of road walking but they are very quiet apart from an 80 yard section round an S-bend on the B1022.
All paths were generally clear (Aug 2022) apart from a couple through long grass (no stinging nettles). There are some lovely views to be had along this route and also a chance to pop in The Hare and Hounds pub at Waymark 26 in Birch.
