A walk with good views eastwards across the Monnow Valley and into England. On a good day you will see the Malvern Hills. Once on Offa's Dyke, good views can be had of the Llanthony Valley. Apart from one climb and a tricky descent the walk is fairly easy. You will need to be equipped for walking in the hills. Take a packed lunch!

At point 3 SO318254 the path has changed slightly as both cottage and it's barn have been renovated, you will need to walk past the property and access the gate to the right.
