The walk starts in a park close to the centre of the pleasant small town of Bourne and once through a new housing development follows paths well trodden by dogs and their owners. At Toft is a Country House hotel then again the route takes to a peaceful lane through the countryside. Finally the return to Bourne is via fields and a road handily supplied with a cycle track/path.
