This walk is mainly on high ground and commands good views as a result at various points. It uses stretches of the Milton Keynes Boundary Walk and of the Greensand Way and offers the option of a mini-visit to the town of Woburn. Deer, especially muntjac (which are escapees from Woburn Deer Park) are commonly to be seen on the way and there is some beautiful woodland. Tracks and paths are good throughout.

Took a party of 16 people on this walk on 11/2 2019 , lovely sunny day. Everybody commented what a lovely walk, Due to recent snow and heavy rain was very muddy in places. We started and finished at The Wheatsheaf pub in Bow Brickall where we had lunch. Put about an extra mile on the walk.

Lovely walk all be it easy to get lost with there being so many woodland tracks . Worth the trip into Woburn . Coming out of the town and heading along Timber Lane please note we could only find one signposted footpath sign to the right . Presuming the other was swallowed up by recent house build . There is a footpath sign before it pointing to the left but this footpath would not be relevant to the walk

I did this walk on 02/01/2007. Very enjoyable through lovely country and a variety of types of terrain, but most memorably through wonderful dense woodlands. Very muddy in places but nothing that can't be avoided without a small detour. The suggested additional short loop into Woburn is well worth it - some nice pubs and restaurants to visit.
