This walk from The Gate Inn in Upper Brailes starts with a small amount of road-work, before climbing up the eastern side of Brailes Hill. It provides spectacular views initially over the villages of Brailes, Sutton-under-Brailes and Stourton, finally descending from the southern end before continuing in a clockwise direction along farm tracks. There is another climb at the western side of Brailes Hill, giving views over Shipston-on-Stour before finally descending to enter Brailes. The Gate Inn provides excellent food and ales; telephone 01608-685212 to make suitable arrangements.
