A quiet walk in a quiet county just about sums up this route, although I am reliably informed that the Cottesmore Hunt uses the bridleways and I suppose that things will be livelier if you should meet them. There are few stiles and no steep climbs, although as you approach Waymark 10 there are good views to the west where the ground falls away. I am also told that parts of the walk are not passable in wet weather, so perhaps it should be reserved for a dry summer or a frosty winter; either way, it's a walk well worth doing.
