Brecon - River Usk Riverside Path - Brynych Lock - Canal Towpath - Brecon

Brecon is a city worthy of a visit. It has a cathedral as well as the River Usk and the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal. This canal is said to be the prettiest in the country and is lovely in all seasons. The walk dos not pretend to explore the town centre, but will explore the riverbank as well as the canal.

Walked today. Pleasant river walking with sheep in fields, and canal aqueduct, lock and basin in Brecon interesting. Good views to the hills from the canal towpath. Elevation shown isn't correct though as it is a mostly flat walk. Probably no more that 20 meters overall.
