This walk joins four small villages, across largely arable land. Cottesbrooke Hall and Gardens can be visited partway round (I'm not sure they'll appreciate muddy boots though!) Check details at www.cottesbrookehall.co.uk. They also do refreshments (unsure if access requires admission payment).
There are pubs in Creaton and Spratton.
