A day-long walk (with plenty of breaks) from Leedon's Campsite at the picture-postcard village of Broadway, to Snowshill which is equally picturesque.

If you are not staying at the campsite there is a large car park down the road.

The walk heads across fields up to Burnhill to join the Cotswold Way, with great views of Broadway Tower and the surrounding countryside.

The walk is easy to follow as most of it is on wide, well-defined tracks, or paths that follow fences or other obvious landmarks.

When you reach Snowshill there is a pub serving food (until 2pm) and the chance to visit the manor – this is a popular NT property. If you are going to do it go and get your 'timeslot' ticket first, then go and have pub grub and relax to kill time before your visit.

When you're done, the walk heads back and runs parallel with the route you came on but slightly higher up, giving alternative views far to the west now.

This walk also runs by woodland. We saw a fox as well as the usual livestock, birds etc.

A fabulous walk with superb views and quintessential Cotswold villages. We enjoyed perfect early autumn weather for our visit to the village of Snowshill. The route is well described and sign-posted throughout making it very easy to follow, and there are some variations to be had with footpaths criss-crossing all over the area. This was the first walk we have done having returned to Walking World and combined with downloading this route to the Viewranger app made it very easy to find excellent and recommended routes. We are looking forward to trying many more in the area.

A superb walk, great views, easy to follow directions and an excellent lunch stop at the pub. Muddy in places but it is February :)

Superb. A must do walk. Great views, good paths and the pub at Snowshill is excellent for beer and food.
