This North Cotswold walk climbs up to cross the Cotswold Way above Buckland, passing Great Brockhampton Farm, with lovely views towards Snowshill; then by quiet tracks, lanes and footpaths, joining the Cotswold Way at Stanton, continuing onto Laverton before returning to Buckland.

There is limited on-road parking at Buckland. Lovely views, pub and pretty Cotswold villages may be explored.

Great walk with good views most of the way around. The walk takes around 3 hours as suggested. But be aware that the walk is actually 7.8 miles not 5.6 miles. The 5.6 figure is probably based on the 'crow flies distance' between the waypoints.

Between points 10 and 11 we encountered a problem. At the bottom of the field after passing through the two metal gates close together, we entered a very overgrown sunken path impassable due to brambles. We climbed a wire fence to the left and walked parallel to the path in a field re-entering the sunken path, over the fence at the bottom of the field. In retrospect, we wondered if the path had been diverted left between the 2 metal gates where there was a blue arrow.
