This wonderfully scenic walk starts at the charming little village of Burdrop, going into Sibford Gower, then out into marvellous countryside. A fine old bridleway is followed to reach Gallow Hill, crossing the ancient Ditchedge Lane track. The field patterns and land contours are sheer delight and outlying farms enhance the scenes. Traitor's Ford is a lovely spot where deep water flows across a narrow road, attracting visitors in the summer months especially. Sibford Ferris is visited next, a beautiful village of local stone where there is a public school; and the final part of the journey ventures a little further, swinging back from Grange Lane in meadows and on village footpaths.
