This linear walk starts at the railway station in the village of Bures in Suffolk. You travel through the villages of Lamarsh, Middleton and Ballingdon through beautiful countryside before arriving at Sudbury Station. En route, you encounter quiet country lanes, fields with stunning views and wooded areas and also walk along parts of the Stour Valley Way, St Edmund Way and along the River Stour.
There are a few climbs, but it is worth it to see the stunning views across the Suffolk countryside.

Refreshments can be found at The Lamarsh Lion pub which opens Wednesdays to Sundays. At the end of the route, you get a chance to walk around the lovely market town of Sudbury with its array of shops and its architecture. A walk not to be missed!
