After about seven kilometres of good dirt road driving we reach the start point of this amazing hike. We will begin ascending a track steadily through mixed woods with frequent deer sightings. Wild pig abound here too. Later we face a more tricky ascent up a rocky footpath that eventually brings us to this amazing Calar (plateau). It forms a huge natural basin with grassy areas below us. From the trig point we now have the opportunity to circle the Calar to enjoy the quite amazing scenery before reluctantly re-joining our upward route and beginning our descent back down the way we came. This description will take you straight back down from the trig point. If you are in the Sierra de Segura this hike is not to be missed, but choose a clear day. Enjoy!
