Our walk begins from the Bridge Inn at Calver with a short uphill stretch to Curbar, where we are rewarded with some super views. Passing beneath Curbar Edge, we walk through woodland to Froggart Bridge, passing another pub along the way. From here it's an easy walk along the banks of the River Derwent back to Calver, passing the Grade 2 listed weir along the way; an ideal walk for a summer evening or a winter's Day.

Just got back from Calver. A lovely little village. The walk was a short one - just right for a Sunday afternoon. A steep climb at the start, but the views are spectacular. We loved walking along the River Derwent down to the weir.
