Situated between Stafford, Rugeley, Cannock and Lichfield, Cannock Chase is an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This walk across part of the Chase is full of variety and interest. Starting from the Visitor Centre, it encompasses lakes, woodland, open heathland, the scenic Sherbrook Valley and fine views across Staffordshire. There is an abundance of flora, fauna and wildlife including wild deer, to interest all ages.

Did this walk 10/10/2016 found the walk guide easy to follow and the walk interesting. We thought the quarry section let the rating down and we would recommend using KINGSLEY WOOD ROAD (see map provided with the route) to reach point 7 from point 5 so avoiding the quarry route 6 which is very dusty with heavy lorries passing close by J STANIER
