Good for a blustery day is this walk through fields to the coast and along the sea to Scarlett Point Visitors Centre and nature trail. There are interesting geological formations and old limestone workings at Scarlett Point. Seabirds, particularly cormorants, may be seen. The name Scarlett is taken from the Viking word for cormorant. The opportunity to see Castletown, with its cafes and medieval castle, could be taken as part of this walk.

The walk is flat but there are some high ladder-stiles.
