Although this walk is in a farming area, it is not just 'fields and farms'. Quite a lot of the walk is through old woodland, where there is usually a richness of fungi to be found. The upper reaches of the Anghidi are not well-known; it is more known for its industrial past down in the Wye Valley towards Tintern.
