The beginning part of the walk is along the beach to see geologically interesting cliffs, which are also known as "The Rock Garden" because of the profusion of flowers on the cliff face in the spring. The rest of the walk is on the Cardigan Heritage Coast Path, a paradise for birdwatchers in the spring, then visits a lovely waterfall.

This is a beautiful walk, but since this was written it is not possible to walk along the beach until the tide is on the way out, as there have been some land slides and also part of the sea wall has collapsed, we just sat and ate out lunch until we could start.

We did this lovely walk during Christmas week 2004. Both route and instructions were clear. Our Labrador managed the stiles with ease although we did keep him on the lead along some of the coastal path to stop him from leaping off the cliffs! Sylvia Saunders
