This walk follows one of the most beautiful sections of the Teign Valley with woods, fields and open hillside. There's a chance to visit Castle Drogo and a riverside inn for lunch.

If you want a change from more moor walks pick this one. In early May you have the added benefit of masses of stunning bluebells. Views of the Teign valley and Devon countryside are stunning. Pub is dog friendly. Lots of opportunities for dogs to swim.

Super walk. There is now a box to donate to park, so no need to be concerned about 'shirty' swimmers.

Lovely walk. Castle Drogo well worth a visit, although completely covered in scaffolding for major repairs - completing in 2017. Re car parking, local resident a little 'shirty' about using swimming pool car park, but there is a wide verge about 100mts along the lane from the walks start point

Great variety of hill (moderate), wood & river-side walking. Good for dogs - only one main road (gated both sides) to cross. All this & a good pub at the halfway point - thoroughly recommended.

Me and my husband really enjoyed this walk. The weather was lovely, which gave amazing views. Clear directions, easy to follow. Very pleased as it was our first walk!!

Enjoyed this really pleasant walk today - some snow on the hills made it all the more beautiful. Instructions were very clear, and it took us about 3 hours. Fantastic views.
