Starting at The Sun Inn, this circular route takes in some great views whilst walking in the fields and also when walking down the country lanes. You pass through a couple of farms, a stretch along a river bank and also a section through a golf course. You also pass through the village of Colne Engaine where there is a post office that sells food and drinks. All the country lanes were very quiet when walked and all the paths were clear apart from a tiny section at the start of waymark 31. A very enjoyable walk for all the family through the Essex countryside.
