Starting at the lovely village of Chipping Warden from its wonderful church, this walk takes on a rural aspect immediately. It visits Edgecote with its elegant country house and church and where fine horses are bred, overlooks Wardington and skirts Culworth. Along tracks and bridleways, footpaths and country lanes, through fields and meadows, alongside spinneys and copses and crossing streams and brooks, the route is ever interesting, with changing scenes the whole way.

We really enjoyed this walk. It had a nice mixture of landscapes, some great views and even a little history thrown in with Edgecote House and the battle site. We found the route between Waypoints 8 - 9 - 10 a little difficult to follow on the ground so followed the bridleway for simplicity with no problems. I know we will bring friends on this walk next time - thank you!
