Start from the ancient and picturesque small town of Clare, then use a long-distance path known as the Bury to Clare walk initially, climbing and obtaining good views backwards before leaving the path to turn west and reach Poslingford. From here use an undulating route on field-paths to arrive at Hundon and turn south then south-east, partly on country lanes and bypassing the outskirts of the hamlet of Chilton Street. Then use more field-paths to return to Clare, with the option of visiting Clare Camp, a very ancient settlement.

Completed this peaceful walk in August 2013, all in good order apart from a few nasty nettles !! Still no path at walk ref 13 but walked round field edge.
