Coed Moel Famau: a Circuit of Foel Fenlli

The walk starts in the car park Coed Moel Famau, from which a path parallel to the road is followed to the higher car park at Bwlch Pen Barras. From here Offa's Dyke Trail is followed over and around the shoulder of Foel Fenlli Hill-Fort, with outstanding views as far as Snowdon and the hills of mid-Wales. The national trail is left for a bridleway that leads, again with wide views, downhill to a lane near the start of the walk. There are few stiles and some lovely bridleways to follow, all the climbing being near the start of the walk. The walk can also be started from the higher car park at Bwlch Pen Barras.
