A walk not too far from Bristol takes you along fields, through woods and a hill-fort, along with a reclaimed railway line.

Great walk, really nice on a Christmas Day. Combining open fields and Flatlands with wooded hills. Some good views but limited by trees, of which there are a lot.

7th August. A lovely walk, mostly sheltered from the wind and shaded from the sun. Lots of bikes on the Strawberry Line as it was a Sunday. I did not find a 'lone tree' at 2, but turned left at a point where the houses end, on the opposite side of the river. A bit longer than stated.

Just done this walk, really lovely, very cold day but the hill into Kings wood warmed us up. Brilliant for dogs.
