This walk begins and ends at a car park of the Red Lion Public House, located at Corley Moor. Leaving the car park, we cross to a lane that takes us across a heath and over the M6 Motorway to the village of Fillongley. The village has two churches, a couple of public houses and a well-stocked village shop.

Leaving the village we head towards Black Hall Farm, where we cross Didgley Brook and continue to Manor House Farm and Barrett's Farm before returning over the motorway. Next we head to the hamlet of Kinwalsey, then skirt Birchley Hays Wood, where at Birchley Hall Farm we turn to walk Windmill Lane and return to the pub.

Hi, Thanks for comments. Suggestion. Why not use the walking world app as it gives you a live 25k OS map, which shows not only all the 'missing' paths, but also your position on them. Glad you enjoyed the walk.

Hi, Tried this walk again on 17/04/19. The marsh had dried out but still soft underfoot, but over first hurdle. It was a pleasant day the sun shinning, directions was good, although my tracker did not have all the paths showing (uses OpenStreetMaps)so a little unsure and spent a lot of time checking were I was. But having said that it was a lovely walk, great views, wildlife, and farm animals. Will do it again.

Tried to walk this one on the 20/03/2019 but sorry to say did not get over the first hurdle, first instruction 'As the track veers left, leave it to continue straight ahead across the moor on a well-trodden path'. Although I could see the path it was more marsh land than moor land and after getting a couple of boots full of water gave up, may try again in the summer.

Walked on 11/1/2015 Still and enjoyable walk, but recommend gators or wellies as parts halve become ankle deep mud due to recent heavy rain
