This circular walk is along easy footpaths and tracks which are quite often used, and very quiet country lanes, so you will find the route quite easy to follow. The rolling countryside is exceptionally delightful and especially good in summer. There is a lot of variety of scenery and the photo shows Budworth Pool which your walk will pass alongside. There are no fields with cows but you will cross two paddocks which may have horses grazing, and one field of crops. There are several landscaped brooks and ponds for you to enjoy and the walk returns through the lovely Budworth Country Park which is very popular all year round. There are several gently slopes but no steep hills to climb although there are several stiles.

Probably suitable for children, senior citizens and anyone in-between. Excellent for dogs and all the stiles are friendly, but hopeless for wheelchairs and buggies. Suitable footwear will be anything flat soled will but boots will be best and there should be no problems for anyone wearing shorts. On your route there are occasional bench seats, and opposite Little Budworth church is the Red Lion pub which has refreshments, toilets and picnic tables. If the pub is closed and the church is open there will be toilets there. There are no other facilities on this walk.
