I found this a very easy and relaxing walk, with plenty of interest on one of the most picturesque stretches of the Bridgwater Canal. The Daresbury Firs are a delight, as is the village with its Lewis Carroll connections; the church with the Lewis memorial windows is very fine and the pub very hospitable.

Did this walk (February) with three of my grandsons (5,6,7). They really enjoyed it. Good walk for kids.
