This is a lovely canal and countryside walk just outside Leek in North Staffordshire. From Deep Hayes Country Park it goes along the pretty Caldon Canal to the village of Cheddleton. It is now a walk across fields and quiet country lanes to rejoin the canal at Hazelhurst Lock for the return. A peaceful days walk with plenty of interest.
