We agree with Susan, we did this walk a few years ago now and found it great with lots of wildlife to see along the way. The climb is along the road section which is quite early in the piece so you get it over and done with and then it is all downhill. Pleasant Sunday afternoon walk or anytime. We parked in the Station Car Park but not sure you can do that anymore without paying.

This is another gift from Robin & Christine :o). Bank holiday Monday saw me looking for another short local walk without too many hills and relatively local for a friend and I. Bank holidays are always so difficult to plan for I think because they are always over run with pesky people. But this was a real gift. The weather was beautiful and we barely saw another soul as we strolled around the golden fields. We were able to stop and have lunch in the sun with great views of rolling fields of corn without another person in site and best of all the dogs could stay of the lead for most of it too. Wow! thoroughly enjoyed this one and thanks again to Robin & Christine for making this Bank Holiday such an enjoyable one.
