On this circular walk you will walk quiet country lanes to pass by Donhead St Andrew Church and an old water mill. After that you branch across country close to the River Nadder, through Park Gate Farm and on to the woods around Wardour Court. From there it is but a short distance to New Wardour Castle and then across the fields to Old Wardour Castle. Walk between the castle and lake and follow the paths by Pale Park Pond and through the Wardour Wood back to Donhead St Andrew.

Did this walk in June 2022. Nice walk and excellent pub food.

A really lovely walk with clear directions. We enjoyed the varied countryside along well defined paths and also the suggested ice cream at the castle! Our dog found a welcome bowl of water here too. The walk is dog friendly with no difficult stiles or gates. We liked the welcome at the Forester at the end of our walk so much that we booked in for lunch the next day. It was superb! Thank you Tom. Sylvia and Tony Saunders and Jagger the dog.
