Starting under the flyover of the very busy A35 Dorchester by-pass, you're soon into the countryside. Starting next to the River Frome and on to our first trail of the day, The Frome Valley Trail. Staying next to the river for the first mile, then onto the strangely named Ratty's Trail and The Cerne Valley Trail. Into the village of Charminster with its impressive houses and church, which is well worth a visit being situated next to the idyllic River Cerne. Out onto grazing land and finally walking next to the mill stream water of The Frome.
