The Golden Valley in west Herefordshire is a peaceful, lush area just overshadowed by the Black Mountains. This short walk near the head of the Golden Valley crosses from the river Dore to the Wye and returns past an ancient burial chamber. On the way there are fantastic views from Merbach Hill.
