Save Our Footpaths - get off the beaten track, this circular walk includes a footpath route which is not often used, poorly maintained, and includes fields of crops which are very difficult to walk over in summer; and in winter some parts of it may be a bit boggy. Cows may be in some fields and some field gates may be difficult to open and close. In contrast the first footpath is well used and easy to follow - probably for local dog walking use. Some tracks are very picturesque and most of the route is flat with easy walking and includes several very rural lanes. However, despite its short length, this is a route for the experienced or adventurous walker.

This walk is probably most suitable for older teenagers, senior citizens and anyone in-between. Excellent for dogs, but hopeless for wheelchairs and buggies. Suitable footwear will be boots or stout walking shoes. Avoid wearing shorts as you are likely to encounter nettles, and taking some small secateurs may be very useful. On this route there are no refreshments or facilities of any kind; (there used to be a pub, and this was a pub walk, but now its all houses).
