Durlston Country Park is a superb place to visit, with dramatic cliffs and an abundance of wildlife, both inland and out to sea; with this walk you have a chance to see all of it!

The route starts out at the car park near the visitor centre and heads along a minor road which gently descends to Anvil Point. Here at Anvil Point there is a lighthouse that looks over the large craggy cliffs. From here the route joins the South West Coast Path and leads east past Tilly Whim Caves (unfortunately now closed due to collapses) and along a well-defined path towards Durlston Head. There are numerous viewpoints along this stretch, including a hide which looks out to sea.

At Durlston Head there is a chance to explore the large globe and castle before heading back to the car park.
