El Hierro: Southern Volcanoes

This is a walk in a figure-of-eight shape. Starting close to the sea, you climb up past extinct volcanoes and cultivated fields almost to the village of Taibique before returning to La Restinga. At the time we walked it (January 2012) the volcanic activity in the sea was clearly visible. By the time you read this there may be a new island!
