Starting at Elmstead Market, you use field-paths and quiet country lanes on a circular route through a few Essex villages. En route you will pass through Ten Penny Heath on a delightful path which is used as a scout camp. Pass beside Thorrington Tide Mill, a lovely stretch along Alresford Creek with a chance to visit the ruins of a church and a lovely section through Cockaynes Wood before eventually arriving back at Elmstead Market. There are some beautiful views along this route, a walk not to forget.
