Mainly downhill through a lush laurasilva forest and down a path rocky in places through a gorge, the views are amazing, especially of the north coast. You will see the most wonderful plants, flowers and trees including the Nispero Tree, butterflies and birds – look out for eagles in the high cliffs above. The delightful village of Los Silos has a wonderful 'wedding cake' church and several lovely tapas bars, a chance to enjoy a northern village before heading back to your resort or car.
