This is a very enjoyable walk in the Suffolk countryside. The route is across sheep meadows, footpaths and tracks. The Fox Inn, Honington has a good menu and you are assured of a warm welcome there. On the river, swans nest and it is a good place to see damselflies. Dogs must be on leads if sheep are in the meadows.

Enjoyed this walk on 25 March 2017, but the gate between WP9 and WP10 is padlocked. It is now necessary to follow the path on the other side of the hedge before the track turns right at TL913753
