Starting at Foston's Ash pub on the B4070, this is a wonderful walk in the glorious Cotswolds, visiting Sheepscombe, truly a picture-book setting of amazing architecture, with charming dwellings of stone sitting on all levels and seemingly enveloped by the natural surrounds. There are lengthy stretches in woodland, much of it in the capable hands of the National Trust and English Nature, jointly. In unique Cotswold countryside, with fields divided by dry-stone walls and with glorious views over hills and valleys, this walk will appeal to the lover of natural beauty.

Regarding the previous comment from Kate, I've checked this walk and can see that Waymark 3 states not to enter the campsite and that the path is further down the road. Also, waymark 3 does not mention a footpath sign at all, but I have updated instruction. The map shows a footpath leading diagonally across towards the campsite, so if it has been removed perhaps confirmation from council is required.

Point 3. There is no longer any footpath signs near Buckshead Farm. They have been removed! Asked owner of the campsite and we were sent 500m further down the main road, only to walk back passed the back of the campsite. Other than this, an excellent walk.

The walk is inaccurate!!! Bucksheads Farm is PRIVATE PROPERTY and is not a public right of way, you need to walk further down the road past the campsite and turn left to walk alongside the woods/campsite. The farmer although pleasant enough was actually fed up with people constantly walking across his land. On the National Trust Land we found the instructions unclear.
