Beginning in the little village of Fuentes our way takes us gently upwards through huge vistas of open farming countryside along wide tracks. Before long we are walking through holm oak countryside with the air full of birdsong. Later we emerge into open country once more and make our way back down to Fuentes, passing the ruined farm El Realenco. The final part is a meandering descent, passing by rather scruffy farm buildings to return to the village once more.
